Allie Munroe has only ever wanted to belong, maybe even be well liked. But even though she’s nice and smart and has a couple of friends, she’s still pretty much the invisible girl at school. So when the chance to work with her friends and some of the popular kids on an English project comes up, Allie jumps at the chance to be noticed.
And her plan would have worked out just fine…if they hadn’t been sucked into a magical realm through a dusty old book of fairy tales in the middle of the library.
Now, Allie and her classmates are stuck in Nerissette, a world where karma rules and your social status is determined by what you deserve. Which makes a misfit like Allie the Crown Princess, and her archrival the scullery maid. And the only way out is for Allie to rally and lead the people of Nerissette against the evil forces that threaten their very existence.

Patricia's a small town girl who was blessed with a large tree in the  backyard that was a perfect spot for reading on summer days. Mixed with  too much imagination it made her a bratty child but fated her to become  a storyteller. After a stint of “thinking practically” in her twenties  she earned degrees in Business and Economics and worked for a software  firm in southwestern Germany but, her passion has always been a good  book. She currently lives in Pittsburgh with her two wonderful kids and a husband  that learned the gourmet art of frozen pizzas to give her more time to  write. When she's not writing she can be found fencing and arguing with  her dogs about plot points. Most days the Beagle wins but the Dalmatian  is in close second. She's in a distant third.  Patricia writes adult Paranormal under the name Patricia Eimer and  writes Young Adult books under the name Andria Buchanan.

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Oooh rough call. Right now I’d have to say it’s either Ben and Jerry’s Everything But… or Phish Food.

What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast?
Cold pepperoni pizza or Cheerios with Mountain Dew in them instead of milk. The breakfasts of champions.

Night owl, or early bird?
Definitely a night owl.

One food you would never eat?
Escargot. I was at dinner once with someone who ordered it and I couldn’t even eat my food it was so gross looking. So gross looking. Even now, just thinking about it, I’m putting down my Hostess Cupcake.

Skittles or M&Ms?
Skittles.

When you were little, what did you want to be when you "grew up"?
I actually wanted to be a librarian because I thought they got to live at the library and stay with the books all night—which for some reason just sounded so awesome to me. I know, I’m such a dork.

You have won one million dollars what is the first thing that you would buy?
I’d pay off all my bills and then probably put in a heated, in ground, Olympic size swimming pool in the back yard for my daughter since she’s a competitive swimmer. And then one of those Velcro wall thingies and a giant trampoline.

Print or Ebook?
As long as there’s a story written on it I’d read it on toilet paper strewn across my lawn that’s how little I care about reading platforms.

What movie are you looking forward to this year?
The second Hobbit movie. The new Thor—just for Loki. The new Avengers.

Finish the sentence- one book I wish I had written is....
Pride and Prejudice. Jane Austen is a romance novel goddess even all these years later.

What is next on your to read list?
The next Rick Riordan book. My oldest and I are reading them together two chapters at a time before bed each night just to prepare for when it releases. That’s like our last ‘bedtime’ ritual we have now that she’s reached junior high and I’m holding onto it as long as I can.

Any other books in the works?
So many that it’s not even funny. In YA I’ve got a Revenge of the Nerds sort of book that I’m finishing up right now that revolves around the class nerd taking on the Head Cheerleader for Prom Queen and ends up falling for the most eligible bad boy in school and I’m starting to plot out another YA trilogy—this one a darker dystopic fantasy—where a young healer is forced to team up with a demon to save her younger brother from an evil witch. I’m definitely trying to work in a very dark sort of fairytale theme to it.

Thanks! You’re awesome! :D
