At first I wanted to say to fly but when I really think about it, I’ll go with invisible. If I’m invisible then I can just hop planes and go where I want, so there’s no need to fly. Also crafty if I’m in a sticky situation and need to hide.
Tell us your most rewarding experience since being published.
Honestly? Just being published. I feel like I’ve earned that title of author. I’ve self published but being offered a contract and working with a team, it’s a whole new and wonderful world that I feel so blessed to be apart of.
Please tell us in one sentence only, why we should read your book.
It’s sexy and sassy with a little bayou magic that’s just perfect to curl up with!
Favorite food?
I am completely addicted to kale right now. More specifically, kale chips. I’ve entered that stage where if I could eat that every day, all day, I think I would.
What book are reading now?
I’m currently working on the third installment of the Believe series but I have a few romances lined up in my “to read” list that I can’t wait to dive into.
What’s your favorite season/weather?
The fall. The changing of the colors, the temperature growing cooler, Halloween, it’s just my favorite all around.
What was your favorite children's book?
Dr. Seuss’s Sleep Book. It was a nighttime favorite and I read it every night with family. To this day, I read it, every night to my daughters before bed.
Beach or Pool?
There is nothing like digging your toes in the sand and listening to the waves crash into the shore. The beach, hands down.
What is one book everyone should read?
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I know that everyone has seen the movie(s) at least once in their life but haven’t read the book. Sit down and read it, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
Any other books in the works? Goals for future projects?
My plan is to finish up the Believe series, which so far, has 5 books planned. It’s a series of modern romance twists to classic fairy tales. I also have Rising, Darkness Falls: The Thirst, What Lies Inside and a few unnamed titles. I’ve started so many ideas that it’s my goal to make sure to finish the whether I plan to publish or not.
