How much time do you spend reading each week?
I try to do at least 30 minutes each day—usually stolen moments when my daughter’s taking a bath or playing with a friend. But then there are times that a binge and read a book over the course of a day or two.

What is the last thing you Googled?
I’m sure it was a synonym for something. Perhaps for “mundane.”

Favorite places to travel?
My favorite place to visit is my camp—Camp Lael—in Lapeer, MI. My favorite trip ever was to Italy and the south of France. I’d do that again in a heartbeat.

What is your favorite way to spend a rainy day?
Snuggled up with a book! Alas, I have a two-year-old, so my rainy days are typically spent entertaining her—although that’s pretty fun, too.

Favorite TV Shows?
Once Upon a Time, Sherlock, The Vampire Diaries, Fringe

If you had a time machine, where would you go (past or future) and who would you like to visit?
If I could be assured to not mess up the future, I’d go back in time to seven or eight years ago. See, my mom died in November of 2008, and every once in a while, I think of things I should’ve asked her when she was alive. I’d make a list of all those things and I’d go back and spend a lazy afternoon with her. Actually, it’d have to be more than eight years ago, because I’d want to go back to before her dad died: He had this lake on his property that I used to swim in when I was younger. I’d go back to that lake and spend the day with my mom.

 Release by Rachel Schurig

Where is your favorite spot to read?
I’m not picky. I just need for people to not be trying to talk to me. I prefer being able to put my feet up.

If you were on Death Row what would your last meal be?
One of my favorite meals ever was steak, lobster, garlic mashed potatoes, and a Guinness. I’d want to have that one last time.

Favorite vacation spot?
 Camp Lael.

Can we get a hint on what you are working on? What are your future plans?
I just finished Wild Magic, the second book in the Clearwater Witches series. Next, I’ll be working on a romance involving a rock star and absolutely no psychic abilities. I’m both excited and scared that no one will be able to read anybody else’s mind!
