It is customary that Amber Rhodes, Editor-in-Chief of The Fitz Times, interviews every new student at Benjamin Wallace Fitzgerald, so the student body, faculty and staff can get better acquainted with them. However, Raevyn’s interview was never released. The recording was found and turned in to the school administration.
A: Please welcome Raevyn Jones, newest addition to the B. W. Fitz family. We are pleased to have her sit down with The Fitz Times this evening. Thank you for your time, Raevyn.
R: Oh, it’s no problem, Amber. Thanks for, uh, having me. I heard it’s like social suicide to snub an interview opportunity with you.
A: Well, let’s just say I have a way of finding out the truth. *gasps* Love your boots. I think I have a pair of those in black. Last year’s Prada, right?
R: *laughs uncomfortably* I’m not really sure.
A: Hmm. Well, you’re the talk of the town. I had to sit down with you and see what all the fuss was about. You just show up out of nowhere, get into the best dorm without even trying. Remind everyone of your legacy.
R: My father is from the Jones Funeral Home in Atlanta, Georgia.
A: Hmm, never heard of it. Your name must ring bells in the South because I don’t even think it’s been a whole month without Brooke and here you are replacing her.
R: *laughs uncomfortably* Oh, I don’t really know. I applied and got in just like everyone else.
A: Of course but doesn’t hurt to have some close friends in admissions though, huh?
R: I don’t know what you’re talking about. I have a paper to finish so if we’re almost done then…
A: We haven’t even gotten started, Raevyn. Don’t tell me you’re ready to call it quits already? *cackles* You seem upset was it something I said?
*inaudible mumbling* *chair scrapes against floor* *footsteps retreating*
A: Oh, Raevyn don’t be a poor sport! *laughs* It was all in good fun!
*door slams*
A: *mumbles* There’s no way that girl is a legacy.
*tape scrambles off*
