I would like to welcome Kaitlyn Davis to the blog! She is the author of the  Midnight Fire Series. This YA Paranormal Romance series includes the books Ignite, Simmer, Blaze, and Scorch. Check out the interview and enter the contest below.

If you could have any superpower what would you choose?
Flying! I love to travel…and airplanes scare the crap out of me!
Tell us your most rewarding experience since being published.
Definitely interacting with my readers! You exist!? Sometimes I can't actually believe that I've published books—it still seems like this far off dream. And then someone emails me or reaches out, and I get embarrassingly giddy because it's all real. And I love them for that.

Please tell us in one sentence only, why we should read your book.
There is heart-pumping action, heart-stopping romance, characters you will fall in love with and scenes that will keep you reading until dawn – what else could you want in a book?

Favorite food?
Candy canes. And ice cream. And risotto. And French fries… I can't choose! I love food…

What book are you reading now?
Beautiful Creatures! I really wanted to read it before seeing the movie and I really want to go see the movie in theaters… Almost done though!

What’s your favorite season/weather?
Summer! The sun. The beach. Country music. Flip-flops. Frozen drinks. There's really no downside :)

What was your favorite children's book?
I adored Goodnight Moon as a little girl! It's still one of my favorites. Oo, also Clifford!

Beach or Pool?
Beach! I need the sand and the waves!

What is one book everyone should read?
Pride and Prejudice. I love Jane Austen!

Any other books in the works? Goals for future projects?
My next project is a young adult fantasy! And after that, who knows?!

Aldrich escaped…again. Tristan forgot…everything. And Luke, well, Luke was getting more than a little impatient. But those were the least of Kira’s concerns, because something else happened in England—something she was trying desperately to forget. A wedge of evil had lodged itself in her heart, a little black hole had nestled into her flames, and it wasn’t going away—not anytime soon…and maybe not ever.
