What is your favorite flavor of ice cream? I thought this was going to be an easy question! Then trying to narrow all the options to one? I have to go with Death by Chocolate. Final answer.

What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast? Eggs and bacon. Lots of bacon.

Night owl or early bird? Definitely a night owl who forces herself to get up early so she can squeeze more into a single day.

One food you would never eat? Raw oysters. Yuck. Feels like a gunky snot. No. I just can’t even think about it.

Skittles or M&Ms? M & Ms definitely.

When you were little, what did you want to be when you "grew
up"? An actress. I was always writing plays and performing them with my sisters.

You have won one million dollars what is the first thing that you
would buy? A house on the east coast of Italy.

Print or Ebook? That’s actually hard to answer. I like paperbacks to read in bed at night and I like eBooks to read on the front patio and outside by the pool. I like that I can high light my reading in my eBooks.

What movie are you looking forward to this year? My inner geek is going to come out: Star Wars --The Force Awakens Dec. 18, 2015

Finish the sentence- one book I wish I had written is... Cold Mountain.

What is next on your to read list? I’ve loaded Miss Fortune Series: Sinful by Anna Snow, Who We Were by Christy Sloat, Captivity by Adam Nicholls and Vagabond by Anthony Karakai.

Any other books in the works? Book 2 of The Livingstone Saga (fantasy) and Book 1 of the Homeric Chronicles (mythology)

AUTHOR BIO:

Janell has been writing since she was in grade school. In high school, her 9th grade English teacher suggested she consider a career in writing. After a decade in college and a Master's degree in history, she settled into teaching.

Writing never stopped. Stories never stopped. READING fiction never stopped. Now, she writes and publishes on-line. Invisible Wings is her first YA novel, a compilation of short stories centered on teenage life triumphs and tragedies. She believes being a teenager is difficult and wrote Invisible Wings to let teens know they aren't alone. That they matter. That even though life is rough, they can still find beauty and love.

Beside the YA stories close to her heart, she adores Mythology and Fairy tales. Anything magical and mystical. And dragons. And gargoyles.

She currently lives in CA.

Stunning cover (and yes, I judge a book by its cover).
