Being connected to Daemon Black sucks…

Thanks to his alien mojo, Daemon’s determined to prove what he feels for me is more than a product of our bizarro connection. So I’ve sworn him off, even though he’s running more hot than cold these days. But we’ve got bigger problems.

Something worse than the Arum has come to town…

The Department of Defense are here. If they ever find out what Daemon can do and that we're linked, I’m a goner. So is he. And there's this new boy in school who’s got a secret of his own. He knows what’s happened to me and he can help, but to do so, I have to lie to Daemon and stay away from him. Like that's possible. Against all common sense, I'm falling for Daemon. Hard.

But then everything changes…

I’ve seen someone who shouldn’t be alive. And I have to tell Daemon, even though I know he’s never going to stop searching until he gets the truth. What happened to his brother? Who betrayed him? And what does the DOD want from them—from me?

No one is who they seem. And not everyone will survive the lies…

REVIEW:

Oh for the love of everything alien in this world!!!! Daemon Black is making all of those eligible bachelors out there look pretty pathetic! Sorry girls!  How can I even begin to tell you what I think about this book when I have "Daemon on the brain"?!?!?!?! This series has definitely made YA Romance a favorite of mine when I never even thought I would give it a try. Thanks Jennifer!! ;D You are simply AMAZING!! This book captures you right from the beginning and won't let go until the last page. Then it leaves you sitting there with your mouth open saying "When the heck does Opal come out?" because I need more Daemon!!!!! (OMG! December....are you serious??)

Onyx to me was better than the Obsidian because we got to see a whole lot more of Daemon. (If you know what I mean ladies!?!?) ;D I wanted to jump into the book and shake Katy for not just going with what her heart felt from the beginning!! This book was awesome right from the start. Sometimes the middle of books kind of slow down, but not this book. There is nothing slow about it, even the relationship between Daemon and Katy. Their romance became more intriguing!! :) Intriguing?!?!.... um.... really it was on fire full steam ahead!!! The plot dives us more into the alien society. I loved the fact we found out more of Daemon's past and the new life that Katy has now.

Katy is an awesome heroine. I loved her attitude and her strength, in every situation. I never understood why she just couldn't accept the fact Daemon liked her or why she felt that she had to protect him to the point of almost losing everything and everyone she cared about. Where Obsidian made Daemon out to be too good to be true, Onyx made him more sexy and sweet!! He had won me over in Obsidian and I think in Onyx he won Katy. :D

I can't wait for Opal to come out. Onyx AND Jennifer definitely deserve 5 Daisy's!!!
