L.M. Pruitt has been reading and writing for as long as she can remember. A native of Florida with a love of New Orleans, she has the uncanny ability to find humor in most things and would probably kill a plastic plant. She knows this because she's killed bamboo. Twice. As a result, she's not allowed to walk in the gardening department of any store without supervision. She's also not allowed in the card aisle of any grocery store without an escort since she'll spend thirty minutes opening cards and laughing for no good reason. She is the author of the best-selling Jude Magdalyn series, the Moon Rising series, and the Frankie Post series. She continues to make her home in Florida in spite of the heat and mosquitos and shares her home with two cats--one of them smart, the other not so much.

If you could have any superpower what would you choose?
--Super fast learning. There’s so much I want to study that I don’t have the time for and being able to learn everything about a topic in a few hours would be awesome.

Tell us your most rewarding experience since being published.
--Off the top of my head, any time someone writes me and says they connected with a character because of personal experience, I feel rewarded.

Please tell us in one sentence only, why we should read your book.
--Because it has a strong, complicated heroine finding her way in a new life—and because there are sexy men.

Favorite food?
--Potato salad

What book are reading now?
--Beautiful Creatures and Indigo Spell

What’s your favorite season/weather?
--Summer

What was your favorite children's book?
--I don’t really remember, but what’s sticking in my head is Charlotte’s Web.

Beach or Pool?
For swimming, the pool. To relax and have fun, the beach.

What is one book everyone should read?
--To Kill A Mockingbird

Any other books in the works? Goals for future projects?
--I’m currently working on the third book for the Winged series, Lost, due out in June. There are three more books in the series due out this year.
