When Vivian’s mother dies in a tragic accident, Vivian’s world is turned upside down. Her life, as she knows it, is over. A new life, full of her mother’s secrets, begins…
Sent away by her father to live with two eccentric aunts on the mysterious Tremaine Estate, Vivian comes to learn that a powerful curse lurks over her family – one that only she may have the power to break. With each day she spends in Misty Hills, Vivian uncovers more unsettling discoveries about the town, her reclusive family, and herself.
Can Vivian let go of every truth she’s ever believed and discover who she really is, before the dark secrets hidden within the supernatural town threaten to consume her and those she loves?

How much time do you spend reading each week?
I try to spend at least 4-6 hours reading each week. I’m a fast reader so I can get through a book or two during that time. It’s just difficult to find the time when I’m trying to write!

What is the last thing you Googled?
How to make yoghurt ranch dip. It was for a friend. And we both realized we never knew it had garlic and onion powder in it.

Favorite places to travel?
I’m in love with Spain. I enjoy Barcelona, Madrid, and the Costa del Sol area.

What is your favorite way to spend a rainy day?
Reading!

Favorite TV Shows?
The Good Wife. Scandal. Stalker. Brooklyn 99. For some reason, none of the tv shows I enjoy watching have anything to do with what I enjoy reading! Go figure!

If you had a time machine, where would you go (past or future) and who would you like to visit?
I would love to travel back to Egypt and meet Cleopatra. She endlessly fascinates me. Oh and also, I wouldn’t mind traveling further back in time just to watch how the pyramids were built!

What’s next on you TBR Pile?
What isn’t?! I think I have a TBR Pile for the next five years! The last book I have bought and can’t wait to start reading is “The Bamboo Stalk” by Saud Alsanousi. He’s a talented Kuwaiti writer whose award-winning book just recently got translated to English. Everyone I know has read the Arabic version and raves about how amazing it is.

Where is your favorite spot to read?
Living room couch!

If you were on Death Row what would your last meal be?
This is a tough one. Do I go all out or go with comfort food? Maybe I’ll settle for a cheeseburger.

Favorite vacation spot?
I enjoy visiting Spain, more specifically Barcelona.

Can we get a hint on what you are working on? What are your future plans?
I’m working on the sequel to The Enchanted Rose. I can’t wait to get it out there and have all the readers catch up on what happens to Vivian.
