The much awaited sequel to Frontier Incursion.

The Garsal have landed and Frontier has changed forever. Now Shanna and her friends must master their new gifts that will enable them to seek out the alien invaders before they enslave her world.

On the plateau the Council under Tamazine (the Senior Councillor) allies with the Starlyne race. Only united do the Scouts, their starcats, and the Starlyne have any chance of surviving, but Tamazine's distrust of the alliance creates a fatal weakness.

Below, the Garsal plot. They need a new pool of human slaves to expand their empire, but first, they must locate the humans already on Frontier and subdue them. Time is running out for both invader and settler, and the outcome hangs in the balance.

1. If you could have any superpower what would you choose?
I think I’d like to be able to talk to animals. I’ve always wanted to know what goes on inside my cat’s mind. Or any cat’s mind for that matter. Dogs are very expressive, but cats - just when you think you’ve got them figured out, you realise that you haven’t.

2. Tell us your most rewarding experience since being published.
I think it’s meeting new people and making new friends. I’ve had the opportunity to talk to and encourage lots of ‘closet writers’ and meet all kinds of interesting people who love reading and writing.

3. Please tell us in one sentence only, why we should read your book.
It has starcats - big, glow-in-the-dark 100kg cats who still like to sleep on the bed!

4. Favorite food?
Now that’s tricky, I like lots of stuff, but rack of lamb is the winner!

5. What book are reading now?
I’m currently reading Andrea K. Host’s ‘Gratuitous Epilogue’ - I became addicted to her Touchstone series last year, and it’s such a nice ending to it all.

6. What’s your favorite season/weather?
I love winter. I’ve decided that I should have been born in a country with snow. Maybe if I lived in it I wouldn’t like it so much.

7. What was your favorite children's book?
Probably ‘The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe’ by CS Lewis. The problem is that I loved (and still do love) so many of my childhood books.

8. Beach or Pool?
Can I say both? For different reasons? Pool for swimming laps, and beach for walking on the sand.

9. What is one book everyone should read?
I think everyone should read CS Lewis’ entire Narnia series. It’s a wonderful collection of stories unashamedly written for children and adults, and each book has a much deeper meaning than the surface one. CS Lewis was a master story teller.

10. Any other books in the works? Goals for future projects?
I’ve finished writing the third book in the Frontier Series, currently titled Frontier Defiant, and I’m toying with a few different characters, trying to decide in which direction to go next. The problem is that I want to go in all of them…
